Transitioning from Easter Decor

Hey ya’ll! It’s been a month since my last post. It doesn’t even seem real that its already APRIL! I swear these days just keep flying by so quickly I’ll look up next and it’ll be Christmas again.

My last post was about our spring sale and prior to that I showed you how I decorated my living room for early spring & Easter. I’ve always struggled when switching up decor for transitional seasons. I say transitional because though its still spring it’s time to take down all the bunnies and pastels.

This photo shows my mantle as it was decorated for “Early Spring”.

Now it has been updated just a little with a different & simpler window, the banner was flipped over to hide the bunnies & the Flower Market bucket was sold. Even little Lola had to leave because she was sold. I can’t get rid of the little moss bunnies just yet!

I added in a few new pieces, including some you can find in our shop. I found this cute lighted ball garland at Target at the $1 spot. Since the window was switched out I added some darker green with an olive wreath I had in another room. I used one strand of our wooden bead garland and grabbed a recycled ammunition vase for some greenery stems.

This recycled ammunition container vase is a new addition to the shop and I’m loving the industrial feel of it!

The wooden bead garland comes in a set of two so the other strand got a new home on my huge vintage cabinet full of milk glass. I’m obsessed with milk glass and those two pieces to the left of the picture are my newest pieces!

My favorite tray is still on the coffee table and though it didn’t get a huge update I did add this delicious smelling candle. If you’ve not checked out Wildlust Wicks you need to go check them out! They’ve recently updated their containers and now they’re make fully out of copper. I have two scents, “I’m Mossy” & “Rekindling Old Flames“.
